- ➤ Valley Vista High School Counselor Larissa Scott has served for four years and promotes student growth by enhancing academic planning, sports coaching, and resource access. She leads initiatives such as the Purple Star program to support military-connected students and build stronger community ties. Surprise Independent
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Surprise Stadium needs experienced vocalists to perform the national anthem for spring training games from Feb. 20 to March 21; applicants must submit by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9 + only selected applicants will be contacted in early February. Surprise Independent
