- ➤ City-funded scholarships were awarded last month to three Surprise employee dependents; Emma Hudson (Grand Canyon University) earned $5,000 for nursing studies while Claire Avalos (George Washington University) and Finn Bush (New Mexico State University) received $3,000 and $2,000 respectively.
