- ➤ Surprise’s next Live at Asante concert will feature modern American music from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. Julia Goto (a singer and original songwriter) and 26 B4 40 are set to perform. Surprise Independent

- ➤ The Arizona Department of Gaming reminds residents they can limit gambling by joining its self-exclusion program. The program, active since the early 2000s & used by nearly 12,000 people, now has 2,500 participants and offers bans lasting 1, 5, or 10 years. ABC15
