- ➤ Arizona Public Service may turn off power for high risk fire areas during extreme fire weather + it will notify customers four days early before a possible outage lasting up to 20 hours. The new measures could affect about 80,000 customers in five counties, with Navajo and Pinal added while Maricopa and Pima remain exempt. ABC15
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Surprise city officials invite residents to take an online community survey to share feedback on government services and quality of life. The survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete, will be open until May 5, and asks those who received a mailed invitation not to respond online. Surprise Independent

- ➤ Canopy Real Estate Partners — launched by real estate veteran Jay Rollins — bought ParkView Townhomes in Surprise for $8.8 million.
