- ➤ Gas prices in Surprise rose after two weeks of dropping, with most stations offering regular unleaded for about $4.89 a gallon. Circle K (16794 W. Bell Road) offers the lowest price at $4.69 while Chevron at 14445 W. Grand Ave shows prices up to $4.99. Surprise Independent
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Arizona + California and Nevada are proposing voluntary water cuts to save over 3.2 million acre-feet by 2028 to protect Lake Powell and Lake Mead from falling to critical levels. The measure comes amid ongoing challenges from drought and low snowpack as federal efforts work toward long-term river management. ABC15
