- ➤ The Surprise Parks and Recreation Department now accepts registration for adult softball, basketball and volleyball leagues via its website or phone (8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays); new and non-returning teams may register starting Wednesday, May 13. Surprise Independent

- ➤ Tickets are on sale for 'I Love You to Death' (an immersive dinner show) hosted by the Grand Drama and Comedy Club at the Irish Lyon Social Club in a 1920s speakeasy setting. The performance features live jazz and interactive scenes in a Prohibition-era atmosphere. Surprise Independent
