- ➤ The Surprise Police Department released videos to track down about 50 people who looted a QuikTrip near Bell Road and Loop 303 over the weekend—officials are urging anyone with information to come forward. Surprise Independent

- ➤ Hollyhock Library will host an upcycled crafting event for kids with 'Junk Lady' Shari Keith at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 19 at its 15844 N. Hollyhock St. location—participants will create art from upcycled items and no registration is needed. Surprise Independent
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Surprise is offering free hydration and cooling stations at its Resource Center, Hollyhock Library, Surprise Regional Library— and Asante Library as part of its Heat Relief Partner program to help residents beat rising summer temperatures. The stations will be open through Sept. 30 to provide a safe indoor place to cool off. Surprise Independent
