- ➤ College graduates aged 22 to 27 face a 5.8% unemployment rate, the highest in more than a decade, as entry-level jobs in tech and finance drop. Arizona resources such as the Mesa Workforce Center—offering free resume labs, mock interviews, and career workshops—and the AdviseAZ mentoring program help graduates build skills while job hunting. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Andrew Frazier from Dysart Unified School District was named Distinguished Administrator of the Year in the Secondary Division by Arizona School Administrators at its June conference — he will become director of curriculum, instruction and assessment for high schools for the 2025–2026 school year after serving as principal at Valley Vista High School. - ➤ Arizona's top education official Horne (the state's education head) praised the Surprise school district for winning a statewide arts honor, and the district will use the award to grow its arts programs (local educators say the honor shows its strong work). Surprise Independent
