- ➤ The Dysart Unified School District has set key dates a week before classes, with a Meet the Teacher night for K to 8 families at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, and freshman orientation for high school students from 7:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30 — high schools will also hold open houses from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Surprise's The Colonnade and Grandview Terrace at Sun Health earned the Dementia Capable Care Workforce Leader designation from Dementia Care Specialists (CPI) by training 75% of their direct care staff in approved dementia care programs.
