- ➤ Ottawa University-Arizona seeks artists to submit original 2D and 3D artwork that highlights art therapy techniques for a mental health exhibit at 15950 N Civic Center Plaza next to City Hall—submissions must be made at Arts HQ Gallery by Aug. 15, and the exhibit will run from Sept. 10 to Sept. 30 with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Surprise Independent
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The 2022 Willow Canyon football team earned its first playoff berth since 2011 by winning its last four games and proved its toughness without star players — the 2025 seniors, having watched that team grow, will work to block, tackle and play as a unit to build on that success — as they prepare for the season ahead.
