- ➤ Natalie Maikoski from EPS Group scheduled a neighborhood meeting in Surprise—residents can ask questions about a plan to rezone 14.88 acres near the southeast corner of 147th Avenue and Beardsley Canal into a single-family home subdivision. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Asante Preparatory Academy at 23251 N. 166th Drive. Surprise Independent
