- ➤ A morning drive nearly turned deadly when Maddalyn Davis, 19, and Andrew Nelson, 21, plunged 350 feet off State Route 88 near Tortilla Flat—Andrew returned home after treatment while Maddalyn remains in the hospital with serious injuries as her mother calls for guardrails on the dangerous road. BUSINESS NEWS
- ➤ Dash Car Wash completed a major transformation at its Bell Road site in Surprise after a month of upgrades to its system and vacuums and held a ribbon cutting on Sept. 12—attended by COO Ron Kildall and Economic Development Director Jeanine Jerkovic. The car wash is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and replaces the old Fast and Friendly Car Wash as the third Dash location in Surprise. Surprise Independent
