- ➤ Countryside Recreation Center in Surprise will host a Monster Bash on Friday, Oct. 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 15038 N. Parkview Place where families will enjoy dancing, games, arts and crafts, STEM activities, snacks and a costume contest with entries judged in six categories — scariest, funniest, cutest, most creative, best overall and family-themed, and pre-registration is required. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Dysart Unified School District will host a public tour of its schools on Oct 7 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.—participants will meet Superintendent John Croteau and district leaders at the school office at 15802 N. Parkview Place before boarding a yellow bus to visit Dysart High, Dysart Middle, and El Mirage Elementary to learn from principals and staff. Surprise Independent
