- ➤ A Homeowners Association summit will be held on November 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Public Safety Building auditorium at 14250 W. Statler Plaza for HOA members, property managers and condo board members. Presentations by city department representatives — covering fraud, crime prevention, water conservation and code enforcements — and Mulcahy Law Firm attorneys will offer practical guidance. CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Two new baseball-themed art installations, Bounce and Swing, will have an official ribbon cutting on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 5 p.m. at Surprise Stadium. Bounce is displayed near first base and Swing, made from over 200 real baseball bats, is located by the third base gate. Surprise Independent
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Surprise Police Department will host a motorcycle safety class for current riders from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23 in the Surprise Stadium parking lot—attendees must bring their own motorcycle, valid license, endorsement and helmet. Surprise Independent
