- ➤ The West Valley Arts Council is hosting the Members’ Salon exhibit at the Arts HQ Gallery in Surprise until Dec. 18—featuring 90 works in various styles. - ➤ Fans of the Texas Rangers can sign up for the fantasy camp in Surprise at the Surprise Stadium Complex from January 7 through 11 — the five-day camp costs $4,950 and lets participants aged 30 or older learn from former Rangers legends like Iván Rodríguez, Fergie Jenkins, and Rubén Sierra. The camp package includes meals, transportation, hotel accommodations, clubhouse access, and a six-game schedule with camper-pitched games and sessions against a pitching machine.
