- ➤ Mesquite Fresh Street Mex — with The Foster Alliance — is hosting its fifth annual Toys for Tacos drive where dine-in guests at its Surprise location at 16860 W. Waddell Road can donate a new, unwrapped toy and receive a free taco until Dec. 18; the event supports Arizona’s foster youth and follows a statewide drive that collected more than 18,000 toys in 2024. - ➤ Arrowhead Towne Center is partnering with Vitalant to host a blood drive on November 29—local residents will have the chance to donate blood and help save lives—and meet a vital need during the holiday season. Surprise Independent
