- ➤ Sparkling Surprise returns to light up Surprise Community Park from this weekend's Surprise Party through Dec. 28, featuring new attractions — Farm Land and Liberty Lane — along with fan favorites. - ➤ The Surprise Parks and Recreation Department received a $4,000 grant to offer a swimming program through the Michael Phelps Foundation — the Individual Medley program will provide water safety instruction, recreational aquatic activities, and health-focused goal-setting education with staff salaries covered.
