- ➤ Wayne Tomlin celebrated 45 years with Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona on Thursday—marking a career that began in 1980 at age 19. He worked in many roles, from forklift driver to donation attendant. ABC15

- ➤ Surprise announced its Cookies and Crafts event with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 14 at the Parks and Recreation Office (15960 N. Bullard Ave.). Families will enjoy holiday activities with six time slots between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m., and registration costs $5 for residents or $7 for non-residents. Surprise Independent
